01A Puebla getaway: when it makes sense

For a first date, the best choice is a public place that is easy to leave: a coffee, a restaurant or a drink. A trip with a hotel comes later, once there is trust. If you are still getting to know each other, start with our first date guide.

  • When there is already trust. An anniversary, a celebration or a weekend you both want and have talked about clearly.
  • When the plan is short. With about 2 hours by bus, a night or two is enough to see the center.
  • Always by mutual agreement. Bring up the trip with respect and no pressure; her being free to say no or suggest something else is part of a good date.

What follows is a selection by atmosphere and location, not a recommendation of where to have any particular date.

A short weekend, unhurried and by mutual agreement.
